Wilmington-Philadelphia Province
Although Fr. Don Heet OSFS first encountered the Oblates at St. Francis de Sales in Toledo, his family moved to North Carolina after his junior year of high school, and so when the American Province was divided, he became a member of the Wilmington-Philadelphia Province (with a lingering fondness in his heart for his “western” brothers).
Fr. Don was in the first graduating class from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales (now DeSales University) and has graduate degrees in English from the University of Michigan, and in Drama and Theology from The Catholic University of America.
Since ordination, he has taught at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA, was principal at Paul VI High School in Fairfax, VA, was superior of DeSales Hall in Washington, and most recently taught preaching and pastoral theology at Catholic University. At Ireton he directed plays and even as principal at Paul VI kept his hand in by building sets.
Theater has always been one of his great loves, although now his involvement is limited to be an excited member of the audience. He also enjoys travel, old movies (Casablanca is his favorite) and occasionally, fishing.

Fr. Geoff Rose, OSFS, is a popular teacher, preacher, and presenter. Prior to entering the Oblates, Fr. Geoff co-founded Mark 5:11 Ministries, a preaching and mission ministry centered on the Light, Love, and Joy of God. Fr. Geoff has a great love for the missions: he preaches for the Oblate Missions every year, takes his students to Jamaica every spring, is an ardent supporter of IsleGo Missions and is Chaplain of the Lingap Center, an orphanage in the Philippines.
