Oblates Gather in Annecy, France

Oblates from around the world gather in Annecy, France, for the General Chapter of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. Annecy, France is special to the Oblates as it is where St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal founded the Order of the Visitation Order of Holy Mary and Salesian Spiritualty began.

During the General Chapter, Oblates gather at St. Michel, the Oblate boarding school in Annecy, to pray together, get to know one another better, and work collaboratively to plan the future of the congregation. Fathers Jack Kolodziej, Joe Newman, Mike Newman, Dan Lannen, Lou Fiorelli, John McGee, Michael Murray, Marc Gheradi, and Bro. Dan Wisnieski traveled to Annecy to represent the North American Provinces.

Please pray for the work of the Holy Spirit among the delegates and the congregation in the next two weeks.
