Fr. David Whalen Receives St. Francis Award

Congrats to Fr. David Whalen, OSFS! He received the 2024 St. Francis Award from the Sylvania Franciscans at the Rooted in Faith Gala on Saturday evening, September 21st.  

Fr. David has shared ministry, supported, and befriended the Sylvania Francisicans throughout his entire priesthood and Oblate life. Fr. David continues to celebrate Mass at Rosary Care Center and serves as a sacramental minister to the Sylvania Franciscans. On behalf of all of the Oblates who have ministered, served, and collaborated with the Sylvania Franciscans, Fr. David humbly and graciously accepted this award.
